Hinzen & Rosen Piano Co. was established in Louisville, Kentucky 1859. This square grand features beautifully carved Rosewood imported from Brazil. It's Empire Revival style craftsmanship was a popular style in the years leading up to the Civil War. Notice the beautifully cut work surounding the music desk and music rack.
